Our Veterinarians
Dr. Kerry Ragan Wantuck – Veterinarian / Practice Owner
Dr. Kerry Ragan Wantuck is privileged to serve as a veterinarian to so many wonderful pets in our community. She believes in providing outstanding veterinary care through practicing superior medicine, advancing her own education through excellent veterinary continuing education, providing state-of-the-art equipment, and educating the public how to help our pets live long, happy lives.
Dr. Wantuck was born in Springfield, Missouri and grew up in Harrison, Arkansas. She has 14 years of experience as a small animal clinician and is honored to be the doctor to your beloved furry family members. She graduated from Southwest Missouri State University in 1996 with a Bachelors degree in Biology. After earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri in 2005, she began practicing in Springfield. Her dream to own a veterinary practice became true in 2014. Dr. Wantuck’s special interests include geriatrics, surgery, and avian/small mammal medicine. She believes in thoroughly educating her clients about their animal’s health, to ensure that the family is able to make the most informed decisions regarding their pet’s care.
Dr. Wantuck is married with two children, and her animal family includes four dogs and an ever-changing number of rescue cats that frequent the front porch of her home. In her free time, Dr. Wantuck enjoys spending time with her family.
Dr. Paige Beatty – Veterinarian
Dr. Paige Beatty Joined the Healing Paws team in December of 2019. She grew up near St. Charles, Missouri and obtained her degree in veterinary medicine at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1997. Her special interests are dermatology, internal medicine and surgery.
She is married with two children. Her and her family share their home with two great pyrenees, two shih tzu and six cats. In her spare time, Dr. Beatty enjoys quilting and reading.
Dr. Kathleen McFarland – Veterinarian
Dr. Kathleen McFarland joined the Healing Paws team in July 2022. Dr. McFarland grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, then moved to Springfield to obtain her Bachelors degree in Biology at Missouri State University. She then went to Kansas State University for veterinary school, graduating in 2020. She practiced in Norman, Oklahoma for 2 years before moving back to Springfield to be close to family. Dr. McFarland enjoys surgery, internal medicine, and preventive care.
Dr. McFarland lives with her husband, their son Leo, and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and going for walks with her family.
Dr. Christina Robinson – Veterinarian
Dr. Christina Robinson joined Healing Paws in June of 2016. Dr. Robinson grew up in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Rockhurst University in Kansas City with a Bachelors degree in Macrobiology. She then completed her veterinary education at the University of Missouri in 2014. Dr. Robinson enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but her special interests include dermatology and internal medicine.
While in veterinary school, she met her husband, Dr. Charlie Robinson, a large animal veterinarian. Together with their children and dog Tuck, they reside in Bolivar, Missouri.
Our Team
Tiffany Seitz – Office Manager / Registered Veterinary Technician
Tiffany Seitz, a Registered Veterinary Technician, received an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 1999 . Tiffany relocated from Omaha, Nebraska and joined the Healing Paws team in 2014. She holds licenses in Missouri, Nebraska and Ohio. Her special interests are anesthesia and veterinary dentistry.
Tiffany resides in Nixa, Missouri with her husband and two sons. When not working hard to provide quality care for your pet, Tif enjoys kayaking and scrap booking, as well as spending time with her family.
Kimberley – Lead Customer Service Representative
Kimberley joined the Healing Paws Family in December of 2019. She graduated from Skagit Valley College in 2014 as a certified Veterinary Assistant. She is very passionate about the bond shared between our patients and their pet parents.
In her spare time she enjoys watching movies, playing board games, solving jigsaw puzzles, spending time with her husband and cats, and frequenting the local thrift stores.
Abbey – Customer Service Representative
Abbey decided to take her love with animals to the next level and joined the Healing Paws team. She has had large and small animals her whole life and has volunteered at a rescue for 7 years.
In Abbey’s free time she has 2 dogs and 1 horse that she loves and cares for. When she’s not at work she involved with NBHA and travels barrel racing.
Chesney (Chez) – Customer Service Representative
Chez is a first-generation college student pursuing a future career in veterinary medicine while working part time as a client service representative.
She has multiple pets, mostly small exotics, with a couple of dogs and her cat Fancy. In her free time, she likes to hike with her dogs, sing at open mike, and attend reptile expos when they are in the area. Her favorite season is summer and she likes weekend road trips whenever possible.
Jennifer – Customer Service Representative
Jennifer has been in the veterinary field since 1998, working as a technician and receptionist.
She moved to Missouri in 2015 with her husband and three children. She has two dogs, three cats and three parakeets. Jennifer enjoys gardening, cooking, making crafts and watching movies with her family in her free time.
Hannah – Clinic Technician, RVT
Hannah, a Registered Veterinary Technician, received an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 2022. She joined the Healing Paws team in June 2022 after graduating from the Crowder College.
Hannah shares her home with two calico cats Daphne and Mittens and her dog Sweetie, who are the light of her world. Hannah resides in Marshfield, Missouri. When not working hard to provide quality care for your pet, Hannah enjoys spending time with family and friends, beekeeping, and being outdoors.
Jaidan – Clinic Technician
Jaidan has worked at Healing Paws since September 2021. She started her career with us as a kennel technician, and was soon moved up to a veterinary assistant role. Jaidan has always had a passion for animals, she has known since she was young. In her sophomore year of high school, she frequently shadowed at the Monett veterinary hospital to get some experience under her belt. She one day hopes to continue her education in veterinary medicine.
For now, she is enjoying her days at Healing Paws, and spends her free time with her two dogs, Ellie and Nova, and her cat, Tux. Jaidan’s hobbies consist of cooking, watching Netflix and spending time with friends and family.
Makenzie (Mak) – Clinic Technician
Mak became a member of the Healing Paws team in March of 2021. She graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences. Mak began her love of working with animals in 2019, as an Adoption Counselor at C.A.R.E.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her bear-pup, (a.k.a. St. Bernard), Sadie, reading, playing guitar, and spending time with her two cats: Thomas O’Malley and Holly.
Marys – Clinic Technician
Marys joined the Healing Paws family is 2020. She has a bachelors in animal science and even though she has worked in veterinary medicine for many years, her animal background originated in rescue. Her compassion, dedication and experience are just a few things that make her an extraordinary member of our team.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her furry babies and doing anything involving the outdoors.
McKensie – Clinic Technician
McKensie Keener decided to follow her passion of working with animals in July of 2014 when she joined the Healing Paws team. She started from the ground up, since this was her first time working at a veterinary clinic, and has gained a lot of knowledge about veterinary medicine during her time at Healing Paws.
McKensie has two dogs, August and Bridger. She graduated from Missouri State University in 2018 with a Bachelors degree in General Business.
Milayna (MJ) – Clinic Technician
Milayna just moved here from Washington State early March of 2022. She came to Missouri to be closer with family. She has special interest within anesthesiology, dentistry, behavior, and exotic medicine. She is currently enrolled in Unity college to pursue her passion within exotic medicine and becoming a traveling Zoologist and Marine Biologist.
In her very limited spare time she likes to be outdoors hiking, sight-seeing, or swimming.
Sydney – Clinic Technician
Sydney has worked in veterinary medicine since 2008. She has a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Missouri State University. Sydney initially started out working in zoo medicine, but eventually fell in love with companion animal medicine and the one-on-one interactions with clients.
Outside of work, Sydney lives on and manages a miniature horse farm of about 40 show horses and enjoys spending time with all of her animals- of which there are several.
Anna – Kennel Technician
Anna joined the Healing Paws team in 2022.
She is a high school student who enjoys reading, band, and plants. She is a proud mom of two Yorkies.
Caroline – Kennel Technician
Caroline joined the Healing Paws team in September of 2022.
She is a high school student who enjoys music, reading, riding horses, and playing in her school orchestra. She has two Yorkies and two Arabian horses.
Kelsey – Kennel Technician
Kelsey joined the Healing Paws team in August 2023 during her sophomore year of high school, always having a soft spot for animals.
She enjoys drawing, playing video games, listening to music, and is also involved with her school’s robotics club. She has two dogs, a Maltese Yorkie mix named Mocha, and a Lab mix named Kate.
Laura – Kennel Technician
Laura has been on the Healing Paws Team since September of 2023. She graduated from New Covenant Academy in 2022. Laura loves being able to spend her days taking care of our boarders and learning new things every day.
When she is not at work, she is usually with her sweet puppy, Cha Cha! She also enjoys going on scenic walks in the park with her puppy and playing fetch!
Lauren – Kennel Technician
Lauren joined the Healing Paws team in May of 2022. She is pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science (Pre-Veterinary) with a double minor in General Business and Equine Studies.
Lauren loves her calico cat, Duckie, and frequently volunteers and shadows at various veterinary and charity organizations. In her free time, she rides horses on the Missouri State Equestrian Team, which she is also a captain of.
