Susan Ruggeri DVM- Owner / veterinarian.
Dr. Ruggeri graduated from the University of Missouri- College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. She practiced as an associate veterinarian at the largest veterinary hospital in Springfield, Mo for 11 years before pursuing her interest in understanding and treating pain in our four legged friends. Prior to opening Healing Paws Veterinary Clinic Dr. Ruggeri spent a year taking advanced training in physical rehabilitation, veterinary acupuncture and advanced pain management techniques. Healing Paws incorporates these methods of treatment in to general practice to provide the best possible quality of life for our pets.
Dr. Ruggeri spends her free time with her husband, Dan , two daughters- Ryan and Jesse, and of course a house full of 4 legged children: Border collie- Gidget. Mini Aussie- Louie. Lovely mix-Max. And last, but not least, the yard cat-Sammie, and house cats- Mia, Puff Daddy and Sapphire.
